The master of all robbery flicks,
Dog Day Afternoon stars Al Pacino and John Cazale as the robbers
of a bank in Brooklyn. Based on a true story, this movie is a
memorable one with suprises and laughs to boot. It's believable, even
Chris Sarandon's role, or rather especially his role. Charles Durning
is pushing it a little bit as the annoying head of the cops on stakeout
kind of guy, but he's cut out in the middle, basically. Once again,
hilarious, and what could be bad about watching an Al Pacino performance?
